Here at OdysseyVR Hawaii, we believe in sharing the Aloha. As Honolulu’s premier virtual reality arcade, we want to use our platform to help local families in need. That’s why we are incredibly excited to announce our "Trade a Can for a Controller" Food Drive, running from Monday, February 23rd through Sunday, March 22nd!
If you've been looking for an excuse to try out our immersive VR rides, racing simulators, and multiplayer games, there has never been a better time to step into a new world.
🥫 How the OdysseyVR Food Drive Works
We are making it easier than ever to give back to our beautiful island. During our month-long food drive, your donations act as your ticket to the metaverse!
The Deal: Bring in 1 non-perishable food item and receive 15 Minutes of FREE VR Game Time (a $30 value!).
Limit one 15-minute redemption per customer. Valid for standard VR stations, rides, and simulators.
🛍️ What Should I Bring?
We are collecting unexpired, non-perishable goods to be distributed directly to local Honolulu food banks. The most needed items include:
Canned soups and meals
Canned vegetables and fruits
Canned meats (like Spam or tuna)
Bags of rice and pasta
Peanut butter
Simply hand your donation to one of our friendly staff members at the front counter, and we will get your free 15-minute VR session started immediately!

With your 15 free minutes, you have access to our entire library of E-rated family games, high-speed racing simulators, and action-packed multiplayer VR setups.
Slash to the Rhythm: Get active with Beat Saber (Rated E).
Survive the Apocalypse: Test your aim in Arizona Sunshine or After the Fall (Rated M).
Take a Ride: Sit back and experience the Dinosaur Park Jurassic Ride or the Mad River Rafting Adventure.
Hit the Track: Feel the speed in Project Cars 3.
Want to play longer? You can easily add more time to your session! We offer flexible 15, 30, and 60-minute passes so you can switch between any game stations. Plus, you can score an additional +3 free minutes just for showing our staff that you follow us on Instagram (@odysseyvrhawaii)!
